Since starting my maritime career in 2017, I've gained extensive experience aboard renowned vessels, including the Motor Yacht Double Down (65m), Motor Yacht Ambition (56m), and Sail Yacht EOS (93m) - learning yacht maintenance in the highest degree. My journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail. After successfully owning and managing a yacht detailing business in the USA for two years, I'm thrilled to join forces with our sister company to deliver the ultimate boating service to clients in the Western Cape. Do you offer mobile services?
How long does a full detail take?
The duration depends on the size and condition of the vessel, but typically ranges from 1 to 3 days for a full top-to-bottom detail and wax service. Heavy oxidation removal and gelcoat restoration may significantly increase this timeframe.
How often should I get my yacht detailed?
For optimal preventative maintenance and shine, we recommend one full detail annually, a wash and wax service quarterly and a wash & dry monthly or semi monthly. Unsealed teak may require a 2-step restoration every 2-5 months depending on usage and exposure.
Can I customize my service package?
Yes, we offer customizable packages based on your vessel’s specific needs and your preferences.
What should I do to prepare my yacht before your service?
Ensure access to the vessel, water and electricity. Clear deck areas to facilitate a thorough cleaning and detailing process. Ensure hatches and compartments are empty for your full detail - there may be additional charges if we need to remove items.
